There is a diverse range of OTT and theatrical releases this week, in several languages and genres. From action thrillers, comedy to documentaries and romantic dramas, the third week of July has something for everyone. Some notable theatrical releases include Anupam Kher's Tanvi The Great, Mohit Suri's Saiyaara, and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Nikita Roy. Shows like The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3, Vir Das: Fool Volume, and Special Ops Season 2, among others will be available to watch on OTT.

Apocalypse in the Tropics – July 14 (Netflix)

Directed by award-winning filmmaker Petra Costa, the documentary is about Brazil’s politics and religion, showing how religion became a political weapon.

Amy Bradley is Missing – July 16 (Netflix)

The three‑part true‑crime documentary, is about 1998 missing case of 23-year-old Amy Bradley, who disappeared from Royal Caribbean’s Rhapsody of the Seas during a family vacation. 

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 – July 16 (Prime Video)

The Summer I Turned Pretty3, starts two summers after season 2. Belly is now engaged to Jeremiah, but the twist comes when Conrad comes back. He is more focused now, and studying medicine on the West Coast. The love triangle with twists, makes it worth-watching.

Untamed – July 17 (Netflix)

Untamed is set in Yosemite National Park. It is about the U.S. National Parks Service special agent, Kyle Turner (played by Eric Bana), who investigates a brutal death in the park with rookie ranger Naya Vasquez (played by Lily Santiago). As Turner probes the case, he discovers some dark secrets about the park and his own past.  It also stars Sam Neill and Rosemarie DeWitt.

Bhairavam – July 18 (Zee5)

The rural drama shows how a temple land in rural East Godavari turns into a battleground for power, greed and brotherhood. When a corrupt minister targets the land worth Rs 1,000 crore, childhood friends Seenu (Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas), Varadha (Nara Rohith) and Gajapathi (Manchu Manoj), have to choose between loyalty and ambition.

Special Ops season 2 – July 18 (JioHotstar)

Kay Kay Menon is reprising his role as Himmat Singh in the second season. Himmat and his undercover agents, face a new threat targeting India's digital economy. The gripping espionage thriller also marks the return of Karan Tacker, Vinay Pathak, and Saiyami Kher, among others. Tahir Raj Bhasin and Prakash Raj are the fresh additions.

Kuberaa – July 18 (Prime Video)

Kuberaa, led by Dhanush, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Rashmika Mandanna, is directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. Set against the backdrop of Mumbai's underbelly, Kuberaa revolves around the story of Deva Kallam (Dhanush), a beggar from Tirupati who gets entangled in a dangerous conspiracy. 

Vir Das: Fool Volume – July 18 (Netflix)

Emmy-winning comedian is all set to enthral the audiences with his wit, wisdom, and humour. Earlier, in a post, Vir revealed that the show was "rewritten in silence and performed without rehearsal across the world."

Wall to Wall – July 18 (Netflix)

The Korean psychological thriller is about Woo-seong (Kang Ha-neul) who buys an apartment with his savings, but soon gets trapped in it with eerie noises, and weird neighbours.

Theatrical releases of this week

Janaki V vs State of Kerala – July 17

Suresh Gopi and Anupama Parameswaran's Malayalam movie which was earlier titled, Janaki vs State of Kerala is now renamed as Janaki V vs State of Kerala. After a legal battle over the title, the film has been certified by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). 

Tanvi The Great – July 18

Tanvi The Great, which marks actor Anupam Kher‘s directorial comeback, is an inspiring journey of hope, determination, and resilience,. It stars debutant Shubhangi Dutt, who is playing Tanvi, an autistic girl, who dreams to serve the 온라인카지노 army, with the help of her grandfather (played by Kher). The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Boman Irani, Pallavi Joshi, Arvind Swami Nasser and Game of Thrones actor Iain Glen.

Nikita Roy – July 18

Nikita Roy is a supernatural thriller, where Sonakshi is playing the lead role of an investigator, who exposes the dark side of Amar Dev (Paresh Rawal), a powerful and mysterious spiritual healer. The film also stars Arjun Rampal. Sonakshi's brother Kussh S Sinha is making his directorial debut. It was earlier scheduled to release on June 27.

Saiyaara – July 18

The romantic drama starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda is directed by Mohit Suri. It is produced by Yash Raj Films.

Murderbaad – July 18

Set in a Jaipur, Murderbaad revolves around the disappearance of a guest at a Rajasthani palace. The missing case turns into a web of secrets, suggesting every character having a hidden motive.

I Know What You Did Last Summer – July 18

Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, the crime thriller stars Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Freddie Prinze Jr, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Austin Nichols among others. It is about a group of friends who are stalked by a mysterious killer.
