Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Motihari in Bihar’s East Champaran district on Friday, launches several developmental projects worth over Rs 7,000 crore. He also flagged off four Amrit Bharat trains and addressed a public rally at Gandhi Maidan in the area.
PM Modi Unveils Massive Projects During Bihar Rally
Ahead of the assembly elections, PM Modi in his Bihar visit addressed a massive roadshow and launched developmental projects worth over Rs.7000 crores.
The four new Amrit Bharat trains will run on the following routes: Rajendra Nagar Terminal (Patna) to New Delhi, Bapudham Motihari to Delhi (Anand Vihar Terminal), Darbhanga to Lucknow (Gomti Nagar) and Malda Town to Lucknow (Gomti Nagar).
As part of his visit to Bihar, PM Modi laid the foundation for multiple railway and road infrastructure projects aimed at transforming connectivity across the state. He inaugurated the New Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) facility at Darbhanga and an incubation centre at Patna to support budding entrepreneurs and boost software and service exports.
Modi also addressed a massive roadshow in Motihari. He criticised the Congress-RJD alliance, accusing them of neglecting Bihar’s development during their years in power and using the poor and socially disadvantaged communities as tools for political gain.
Later today, Prime Minister Modi will visit Durgapur in West Bengal, where he is scheduled to lay foundation stones and inaugurate development projects worth over Rs 5,000 crore.
