The sequel to 2024's Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is titled Godzilla X Kong: Supernova, Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures’ announced the title on Friday, May 9, along with the news of its release date, with production underway. The next chapter in Monsterverse will have theatrical release on March 26, 2027.

A teaser video was also unveiled, which shows the Monarch office, the secretive organisation that tracks the gigantic monsters called Titans. A computer screen inside the Monarch office displays a real-life hotline number that fans can call to receive an automated message. The phone number is (240) MON-ARCH, which translates to 240-666-2724.
The calls says, “Thank you for calling the Monarch Community Support Hotline, your global resource for Titan response and relief. Your help reporting Titan sightings plays a critical role in keeping our world safe".
In one of the scenes, there is a phone call from Sedona, Arizona, which is known as the awakening site of spider-legged monster Titan Scylla in Godzilla: King of the Monsters.
The teaser also shows a Godzilla bobblehead and a coffee mug that says, “Keep Kong and Carry On”.
Supernova is the sixth movie in the blockbuster Monsterverse series.
Godzilla X Kong: Supernova cast
Supernova will star Dan Stevens, reprising his role as Trapper. He will be joined by fresh cast including Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Kaitlyn Dever, Matthew Modine, Sam Neill and Alycia Debnam-Carey.
The film has been directed by Grant Sputore, with script by David Callaham and Michael Lloyd Green. Mary Parent and Thomas Tull have served as producers.
