Bayern Munich duo of Thomas Muller and Leroy Sane scored the goals for the hosts in a match played at Borussia Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park stadium as Germany beat France 2-1 in a international friendly. Antonine Griezmann scored a later penalty for the visitors after Sane had fouled Eduardo Camavinga. This was France's first loss since the Qatar World Cup final against Argentina back in December last year. On ther other hand, this was Germany's second win in seven games in 2023. Germany recently sacked their manager Hansi Flick after a string of poor performances.
