Ireland won the second ODI by four wickets to complete a series sweep of 2-0. In fact, the loss means Zimbabwe go home without a win on this tour with three T20I defeats and a 2-0 ODI clean sweep.

After opting to bat first, Zimbabwe did not have the best of starts as they lost their first four wickets for just 54. Captain Chipo Mugeri-Tiripano (56) then stitched a 94-run stand for the fifth wicket with Modester Mupachikwa (45) before things again went downhill and the Zimbabweans were bowled out for 178 in 49.1 overs.
Alana Dalzell picked up four wickets for Ireland and Lara McBride got three scalps.
Chasing a modest target, Gaby Lewis scored 44 and Orla Prendergast steered the chase with a 67 not out to take Ireland over the line. Ireland reached the target in 38.5 overs with four wickets in hand to complete a series sweep.
Loreen Tshuma's four-wicket haul stood out for Zimbabwe but could not alter the result.
In the series opener, Ireland, led by Gaby Lewis, built on their strong form in the T20I leg, beating the visitors by 97 runs. They bowled Zimbabwe out for 191 runs after setting a 289-run target. Orla Prendergast was named the Player of the Match for her all-round display of a half-century (50 off 53) and miserly bowling (2/20 in 10 overs).
