Netflix announced its upcoming series Saare Jahan Se Accha, which stars Pratik Gandhi as an intelligence officer Vishnu Shankar. His target is the enemy nation and the goal is to stop them from becoming the nuclear power. The announcement video hints that it will be a gripping tale of espionage, sacrifices, and national duty. Saare Jahan Se Accha is all set to premiere in August.

Set against the backdrop of the 1970s, Saare Jahan Se Accha revolves around the high-stakes world of intelligence where one needs to pay attention to every little detail and information to stay one step ahead of the enemy. Gandhi's Vishnu Shankar is on a mission to save the country from the nuclear threat, and how he stays one step ahead of its adversaries, will be worth-watching.

The show is a tribute to the sharp minds and resilience of India's intelligence community.

Sharing the brief teaser on social media, the streaming platform captioned it, "Kuch jung itihaas ke panno mein nahi milengi. Azaadi ke mahine mein, saare files unclassified ho jayengi 👀📁Watch Saare Jahan Se Accha, out 13 August, only on Netflix (sic)".

Apart from Pratik, the spy thriller also stars Sunny Hinduja, Suhail Nayyar, Kritika Kamra, Tillotama Shome, Rajat Kapoor and Anup Soni. It has been created by Gaurav Shukla, directed by Sumit Purohit, and produced by Bombay Fables, with Bhavesh Mandalia as the creative producer. Bhavesh Mandalia, Gaurav Shukla, Meghna Srivastava, Abhijeet Khuman, Shivam Shankar, Kunal Kushwah, and Ishraq Shah have penned the script. Saare Jahan Se Accha will release on Netflix on August 13, 2025.
