Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s much-anticipated open bus parade to celebrate their maiden IPL title has been cancelled due to severe traffic congestion in the city, as per Bengaluru Traffic Police. The franchise had initially planned a grand procession from Vidhana Soudha to the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 4, but revised their plans to ensure public safety and ease traffic flow in the Central Business District (CBD) area.

Instead, the RCB squad will be felicitated at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium between 5 PM and 6 PM IST. The players will first meet Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah at Vidhana Soudha before heading directly to the stadium. Entry to the felicitation ceremony will be restricted to those holding valid tickets or passes
