Samjhana Khadka and Sita Rana Magar opened the batting for Nepal women. Fatima Sana came to bowl the first over for Pakistan. She started with three dot balls then Khadka hit a boundary. Sana dismissed her on the next bowl to provide the first breakthrough for her team.

Omaima Sohail was introduced into the attack in the 4th over and she leaked 11 runs. Kabita Kunwar and Sita Rana Magar hit a boundary each to give a brilliant start to Nepal's innings.
