As per the latest 2025 ranking, Pakistan and Yemen share the 103rd position on the Henley Passport Index. Both Pakistani and Yemeni passports are eligible for visa-free access to only 33 countries followed by Iraq (31 countries), Syria and (27 countries) and Afghanistan (26 countries).
UAE biggest gainer; US, UK go down
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the biggest gainer that climbed 32 places up 10th spot with visa-free access to 185 destinations worldwide. Since 2015, UAE gained access to 72 added destinations.
US is notably absent in the first five ranks. Being the second-biggest faller between 2015 and 2025 after Venezuela, the rank of US has dropped by seven places from 2nd to its current 9th position.
Similarly, the 5th rank holder UK passport also continues to decline, with its passport strength diminishing over the past decade from its once-dominant number one spot.
