Ahmedabad Plane Crash: A Month Of The Aviation Disaster That Shook The Nation
A month has gone by since the deadly crash of Air India's AI-171 London-bound flight in Ahmedabad, which left the whole nation in shock. Within 32 seconds after taking off, the aircraft was seen bursting into a ball of fire, turning all the 242 people on board into nothing but charred dead bodies. The death toll further mounted later as the aircraft crashed into the staff quarters and student hostel of Ahmedabad's BJ Medical College. Investigations are still underway with the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) releasing the preliminary report on Saturday.
